The Ontario Association of Geographic and Environmental Education is a leading subject association for teachers in the province of Ontario. Our mandate is to support teachers in their implementation of the Ontario Ministry of Education’s curriculum policy.
Although we support Ontario teachers, we encourage others with an interest in Geographic/Environmental education to join our Geo-Fantastic community.
Recently, Alex Trebek, remarked that people who understand geography have a key role to play in helping societies address environmental issues. “We live in a period now of crisis for our planet, and it strikes me that geography is even more important now than it has ever been.”
OAGEE is very saddened to hear of the recent passing of Alex Trebek. A huge supporter of Geographic Education, and all that organizations like OAGEE do. Our heartfelt sympathies to his family.
