Participants will learn how to employ concrete strategies for supporting students in developing critical, creative and collaborative geographic thinking competencies. Teachers will consider how inviting and scaffolding students to think in meaningful, ethical, innovative, rigorous and humane ways enlivens the curriculum and engages students in geographic inquiries which transcend the classroom.
